CORNWALL – The playoffs are right around the corner and the River Kings are hoping for another large crowd this Saturday night when the Laval Braves come to town.
And for the second straight Saturday night, tickets are available for only $5. Children under the age of 12 (and accompanied by an adult) who wear any hockey jersey will get in for $3.
The club is also organizing a Meet and Greet with its players after the LNAH game in Salon B at the Civic Complex. The cost for the party is $3. Season ticket holders will be admitted at no charge. There will be music and munchies.
The main door prize will be a season ticket pass for next year as well as post-season tickets for this year’s playoffs.
There will also be several great auction prizes; featuring game-worn jerseys of fan favourites Francis Lessard and Chris Cloutier. Cash, debit and credit cards will be accepted.
Fans are invited to bring cameras and get autographs from their favourite players.
Saturday’s contest promises to be an interesting one – it’s the second half of a home-and-home series with the Braves. Cornwall visits Laval on Friday night.
