Free 5-week Basic Computer Course

Cornwall Ontario — Tri-County Literacy Council (TCLC), 101 2nd Street West, is pleased to offer a FREE 5-week Basic Computer course for adults 19 to 65 years of age. In this program, participants upgrade literacy skills while learning the following digital technology:

The training is suitable for a variety of learners including those planning to enter the workforce for the first time, people changing careers, and individuals wishing to strengthen Essential Skills.

There are ine Essential Skills at differing levels identified by the Government of Canada as necessary for success at home, work, and play. These skills are reading, writing, numeracy, document use, thinking, oral communication, working with others, digital technology, and continuous learning.

Classes will run for 5 weeks, Monday to Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., starting Monday, June 30, 2014. For more information visit our website at http://www.tricountyliteracycouncil.ca or call 613-932-7161 to register today – space is limited! (ask for Nancy).
