United Way of SDG celebrates 70 years!

Cornwall Ontario — United Way Centraide SD&G invite you to come and celebrate with us for a traditional family picnic in Lamoureux Park to mark of this historic mile stone.

“70 years of service to our communities is amazing!” says Lori Greer, Executive Director “It is reason to celebrate but without our loyal donors, business leaders and local citizens this anniversary would not have been possible.

“The Board of Directors of the United Way of S. D. & G. are thrilled to host this family event as a symbol of our thanks , a day we can all come together to enjoy and celebrate” , said Danny Aikman, United Way Board President,

The 70th anniversary celebration will be held at Lamoureux Park by the Bandshell on Sunday, July 6th from 11:00am to 2:00pm and everyone is welcome!

Our thanks go out to the Benson Group who will be hosting a Benson BBQ. There will also be plenty of games, prizes, freezie treats and a photo area for pictures. Come meet family & friends, eat and enjoy the day. This is a FREE event but free-will offerings will be most graciously accepted.
