Cornwall Ontario — This weekend a lot of money will be leaving our community as thousands and thousands buy ribs from out of town vendors at Ribfest.

But how do the ribs in Cornwall stack up to those at Ribfest?

Christian Barque of Bar Q took to Pitt Street to find out.

People on the street were trying samples of his honey smoked ribs and sesame maple ribs.

I sampled the sesame maple ribs, and they were simply delicious and mouth watering. The meat fell off the bone, and practically melted in my mouth.

Cornwall has culinary talent that stacks up with the best at Ribfest.

That is good new for Cornwall folks, because once Ribfest is over, there are some great options locally for fantastic ribs!
