Cornwall Municipal Election 2014

Cornwall Ontario — Cornwall Ontario, like the rest of the province, goes to the polls on October 27th, 2014 to elect a new City Council. There are three candidates for Mayor and 29 for City Councillors.

Polls are open on October 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Advance polls run October 8th to the 21st, 2014. For more information visit the City of Cornwall’s website.

The list for Mayoral candidates is as follows: Jamie Gilcig, Bob Kilger, and Leslie O’Shaughnessy.

The list for Councillor candidates is as follows: Todd Bennett, Davey Bedard, Roland Besner, Alyssa Blais, Denis Carr, Pat Clarke, Bernadette Clément, Maurice Dupelle, Brock Frost, Syd Gardiner, Glen Grant, Carilyne Hébert, Mary Ann Hug, Greg Kielec, Rony Macarone, Elaine MacDonald, Mark A. MacDonald, Claude E. McIntosh, Heather Megill, David Murphy, Mike O’Neil, Andre Rivette, Denis Sabourin, Gary W. Samler, Gerald E. Samson, Geoff Stephenson, Guy St-Jean, Justin Towndale, and Stephanie White.

The list of School Trustee candidates is as followers: For the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario – Ron Eamer and Todd Lalonde. For the Upper Canada District School Board – Kevin Brisson and David McDonald. For the Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l’Est ontarien – Michel Pilon is acclaimed. For the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario – Jean Bédard, Lise Benoit-Léger, and Jules Bourdon.

Eligible electors whose names are not on the voters’ list or whose names are shown incorrectly on the list may request to be added to the voters’ list or have the information on the list amended by filing an application, along with acceptable identification, at the voting place.
