Geoff Clarke named new Director of Human Resources

Cornwall Ontario — CAO Norm Levac is pleased to announce that Geoff Clarke has been selected as the City of Cornwall’s new Director of Human Resources, effective Monday, October 20th.

“I am pleased to welcome Mr. Clarke to this important position,” said Mr. Levac. “Mr. Clarke is a seasoned human resources professional with a high level of experience in both the private and public sector.”

A native of Oshawa, Mr. Clarke has previously worked for Volvo as well as St. Joseph’s Health Care Group in Thunder Bay and Bruce Power in Tiverton, Ontario. He graduated with a Business Administration and Human Resources Management diploma from Durham College.

“I’m excited about being in Cornwall and beginning this new opportunity with the City,” said Mr. Clarke.

As Director of Human Resources, Mr. Clarke will oversee all employee-related matters for the City and its various departments.
