Cornwall Ontario — The City of Cornwall wants an ice rink removed from the front lawn of a property on Monaco Crescent.
The Vincent family was shocked to get a notice from the City concerning the rink.
The rink violates a City bylaw that states structures can’t be build too close to City property.
The rink has become a popular spot for neighbourhood children who want to play and skate.
People on social media have expressed opinions of outrage over this notice.
It was reported in the Seaway News that Councillor David Murphy hopes to find a solution to this that would allow the family to keep the rink for the winter.
Do you agree with the City of Cornwall or do you think they should allow the family to keep the rink for the winter?
