Ice Hockey Cornwall City Park Winter

Cornwall Ontario – The Cornwall Community Police Service would like to remind the residents of Cornwall who are venturing onto the ice for activities such as ice fishing or skating to do so with caution. The ice might appear solid, however may not be as thick as you would think. If you are going to venture onto the ice remember these guidelines:

Also to remember clear blue ice is usually the strongest ice, while white frosty ice could be as much as two times less strong.

Do your homework before venturing out onto the ice and if you’re not sure, it’s simple just don’t go!
