Eleven Points Logistics Job Fair

Cornwall Ontario — Target Canada will be closing all 133 stores across Canada, and axing over 17,000 jobs, and this will likely impact about 350 jobs right here in Cornwall.

The massive 1.4 million sq.ft. Eleven Points Logistics distribution centre, which opened in the spring of 2013, may soon be empty, unless another company chooses Cornwall and fills the void.

It was reported on CTV that most Target employees will receive a minimum of 16 weeks of compensation, however that would not likely apply to any workers laid off at any of its distribution centres.
