In celebration of International Women’s Day, yesterday, these outstanding ladies at the Woman’s Day Show sponsored by The Seeker, at the Cornwall Civic Center, participated in the #DearMe initiative. A video campaign to inspire, encourage, empower and caution young girls around the world. What would YOU say to your younger self? Here’s what THEY said.

They each have a VERY powerful message to share. Here is the YouTube Channel containing the videos of all who participated, respectively. Please take a moment to check out their videos and vote on the one(s) you really like by clicking the ‘Thumbs up’.

At 5 pm on Friday the 13th, we will tally up the votes (Thumbs Up) on each contestant’s YouTube video. The one with the most votes wins a large pizza from our very own local Boston Pizza right here in Cornwall. Each is already a winner of the reward of excellence of personal achievement in knowing that their video may reach and inspire many girls with their message. Because that’s what this is all about. These women took that challenge, sat on the seat in front of the camera, and shared their message with the world. They put themselves out there, open to criticism, for the personal reward of helping others. That takes great courage. As a community, we can show our thanks and appreciation by liking this page and by voting. Participate! Represent.
