Cornwall Ontario — Local born comics Jen Grant, Matt Carter and Mark Vincent took over La Maison Entertainment Venue on April 10th to raise money for Rachel’s Kids.
“Rachel’s Kids is a charitable organization supported through community   contributions, corporate donations and the time of volunteers, which seeks to aid any child in need- whether it is poverty, neglect, abuse or illness. Rachel’s Kids also works with other aid organizations in order to improve the lives of children in need”, says Dr Rachel Navaneelan.
Mark Vincent SeekerAbout $900 was raised by the comedians on Friday night.
“It was a great night.  All of the acts were amazing and Jen Grant blew the roof off La Maison and we were able to help Rachel’s kids out, who does great things in the community. so I’m ecstatic about the night and excited for the next event at La Maison, such a great venue for comedy”, said host and organizer Mark Vincent.
Jen Grant has an impressive resume as a stand-up comedian including performing at all the major Canadian festivals, working with greats such as Louis CK and Jim Brewer, being voted top 5 funniest people in Toronto and she recently released her CD “Nobody likes your homemade wine”.

The next charity comedy event will raise money for Friends of Vets.
