Traffic Notice – Closure of Second St W at Brookdale Ave to remove bridge superstructure

New Cornwall BridgeThe City of Cornwall would like to advise motorists that American Bridge Canada will be closing Second Street West at Brookdale Avenue on Monday, May 25th in order to continue work on the removal of the high-level bridge.

The closure will start on Monday, May 25th and it is expected to remain in place until Friday, June 5th, subject to favourable weather conditions.

During the closure period, Brookdale Avenue will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic. Meanwhile, traffic on Second Street West will be detoured via Brookdale Avenue, Seventh Street and Hoople Avenue.

The City of Cornwall and American Bridge Canada would like to thank all motorists for their patience and cooperation while this work is carried out.
