Sept. 4, 2015 — It may be Labour Day weekend, but the River Kings are hard at work preparing for the 2015-16 LNAH season.
Cornwall’s fourth training camp opened at the Civic Complex on Friday night.
Approximately 150 fans were in attendance to watch the two-hour scrimmage, which featured a good mix of veterans and newcomers looking to earn roster spots.
Players will be back on the ice on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. for a practice. Then, at 1 p.m., another two-hour scrimmage will be held.
The annual Intrasquad game will take place on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $5 (all ages, general admission).
