Cornwall Ontario – The Cornwall Colts beat Nepean 4-1 at the Ed Lumley Arena in their final game before the Christmas break.

First star Keegan Mulhearn had a goal (7) and an assist to lead the Cornwall Colts offence. Tanner Spink (11), Jeremy McFarlane (6) and Shawn Baird (3) also scored for the Colts. Parker Krol chipped in with two assists.

Liam Lascelle improved his record to 13-6-0-1 in a 25 save performance. The Cornwall Colts outshot the Raiders 29-26.
Cornwall’s record is 20-17-2-1 for 43 points and sole possession of 7th overall in the CCHL.

The Wendy’s Restaurant Three Stars were First Star Keegan Mulhearn (Colts), Second Star Tanner Spink (Colts) and Third Star William Cullen (Raiders).

The Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Colts Player of the Game was Grant Cooper. Cooper was playing in his first game after being named Captain for Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge.

The Cornwall Colts are off until their next home game on Tuesday, December 29th vs Kanata Lasers. Game time is 7:30pm for Cornwall Minor Hockey Night.
