Then, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, The Cornwall Nationals will have a BBQ on the patio of Mocktails, which is located at the southwest end of the Civic Complex.

There will be a limited number of seats on sale this Saturday at a discounted price for the team’s home opener. These hot deals will include:

– Two adult tickets to the home opener for $20

– Two senior or student tickets to the home opener for $15

– Two children tickets to home opener for $7

In addition, the team will have a raffle for a family pack season ticket package, which is valued at $750 (two adults, two children).

The Cornwall Nationals inaugural home opener in the Federal Hockey League will take place Sunday, Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. vs. Danville.

General Manager Mitch Gagne has been busy in recent weeks, already signing several players including local stars Jeff Legue and Jason Lepine as well as veterans Lou Dickenson and Kris McCarthy. Former River Kings forwards Anthony Pittarelli and Anthony Mezzagno have also come to terms with the team, which promises to be very competitive in year one.

The Cornwall Nationals plan to name a head coach in the coming days as well. That announcement could come as early as Saturday.
