CORNWALL – St. Lawrence College is preparing to welcome students back to campus for another year on September 6 with Orientation Day activities delivering a full slate of fun!
SLC’s Orientation Program actively supports each student’s ability to be successful in college by providing opportunities to expand knowledge, improve skills, develop connections, and become engaged in the SLC community.
Activities will kick-off at 9:00 am on the Cornwall Campus where students will participate in campus tours, academic success building information sessions, free swag and lunch, games, and live entertainment. Soon the campus will be a buzz with student engagement continuing through Welcome Week activities. Welcome Week offers students a chance to familiarize themselves with the support and services available on campus. “We offer students a variety of opportunities to get involved and immerse themselves in the college experience from the very beginning to help ensure they get the most out of their time here at SLC,” said Glenn Vollebregt, President and CEO of St. Lawrence College.
Students can participate in events such as the Toga pub night, Movie Night, and the Meet your Faculty Mixer.
