Cornwall Ontario – Jeremy McFarlane and Keegan Mulhearn scored 2:21 apart in the 3rd period as the Colts held on for a 4-3 victory over the Brockville Braves at the Ed Lumley Arena.

The Cornwall Colts have now won four in a row. The Cornwall Colts record improves to 21-12-1-3 for 46 points and 4th overall in the CCHL standings.

For McFarlane it was his 9th goal of the season while Mulhearn’s was his 4th. Grant Cooper (19) and Chris Mammas (6) also scored for the Colts. Tristan Conrad and JD Pogue each chipped in with 2 assists.

Liam Lascelle made 33 saves for the win in goal as the Braves outshot the Colts 36-35.

The Wendy’s Restaurant Three Stars of the game were First Star JD Pogue (COR), Second Star Grant Cooper (COR) and Third Star Chad Varney (BRO).

The Colts Cornwall next game is Friday in Pembroke against the Lumber Kings. Game time at the Pembroke Memorial Centre is 7:30pm. The Colts then break for Christmas and won’t play again until Thursday 5th vs the Hawkesbury Hawks at the Ed Lumley Arena.
