Toronto, Ontario – Michael Kelly of Cornwall is celebrating after winning a $250,000 top prize with INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE (Game #2082).

“I play the lottery regularly and enjoy playing INSTANT games the most,” said Michael, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “If the jackpots for LOTTO MAX or LOTTO 6/49 are high, I will buy a ticket for those as well.”

Michael discovered his big win while checking his tickets at a local convenience store. “I initially thought I won $50. When the machine froze and the words ‘Big Winner’ appeared on the customer display screen, I realized I won much more! I couldn’t believe it.”

Michael, a married father of one and grandfather of three, shared the good news with his wife. “I showed her the validation slip so she knew I wasn’t joking. She was so excited!” he said.

Michael looks forward to enjoying his winnings with his family. “Winning this prize means everything to me. It provides financial breathing room, and now we can pay off our mortgage,” he concluded.

INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE is available for $10 a play and the top prize is $250,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.45.

The winning ticket was purchased at MacMillan’s Convenience on Marlborough Street in Cornwall.
