The City of Cornwall is inviting residents to sign a book of condolences for the victims of the crash involving the Humboldt Broncos hockey team.

The book will be available for signing near the main entrance of the Benson Centre for the next several days. The facility is open daily until 10 pm.

“This tragedy has gripped the entire country,” said Mayor Leslie O’Shaughnessy. “This is one small gesture to let the community of Humboldt and the families of the victims know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.”

Flags at the traffic circle on Brookdale Avenue have also been lowered to honour and remember the victims.
