Hello Everyone who has decided to pick up a “Real Paper” that gives you the Newest and most Positive News in the land. Well, our land in the Cornwall and the S.D. & G. area, that is. SPRING Is Finally Here!!!
Johnny and I have seen many V formations of Canadian Geese returning from down south. Yes, there is still some of the white stuff hanging around, but, Mz. Spring will be doing her thing of having the sun shine brighter and longer as the days roll by. Look for the many, small miracles that appear on your lawns and in your front and backyards. Take a peek at the branches of the trees and bushes to spot any New buddery that may be waking up from their long, Winter’s nap. SPRING is a Renewal of Life in Nature… A New Beginning to start reproducing all over again. As Humans we should take this time of year to renew relationships, hobbies and old friendships. This is a time during March Break and the Easter celebrations to visit dear loved ones or old friends that you haven’t seen in a long while.
Tip of the Week: We Only Have But One Life To Live. (Others may think differently. That’s Ok.) How Are YOU Planning To Spend Your Life? By Regretting? By Hating the way you Look? Dieting, perhaps? Or by chasing after people that don’t love or care about you? By Crying? Perhaps by Stressing Out? Or By Always Questioning??? We Humans Have One LIFE! SPEND IT WELL.. GO ON OUT & LIVE YOUR LIVES TO THE VERY FULLEST…MAKE YOURSELVES HAPPY & PROUD THAT YOU LIVED A LIFE THAT YOU LOVED WITH THE ONES YOU LOVED WITH NO REGRETS TO EVER MENTION!!! I PLAN TO LIVE THIS KIND OF LIFE WITH MY LOVING HUSBAND, JOHNNY!!!
Renewing our lives is as easy as walking barefoot or starting some work in the garden. Contact with soil has many health benefits, not to mention the positive health benefits of being ‘grounded’. This is when we actually are electrically connected to the earth, and most modern shoes prevent us from doing so. By being connected to the earth, free radicals and all kinds of inflamations in the body can be absorbed into the earth and leaving us healthier and happier. As we see the plants start to renew their cycle of life, we too may renew our own. We have been cooped up in basements or other indoor areas long enough, and need the sun, and the fresh air to thrive. By getting outdoors in the Spring, our own feelings of well-being are amplified, just as they are with a hungry bear coming out of hibernation. We tend to become more active, going to the beach, cycling, shopping from store to store on foot, or doing any number of other activities in the fresh air. Renewing ourselves may take many forms, and Spring is certainly the most natural time to start afresh. So why not get out your outdoor tools, shoes, and enjoy gardening, walking, or whatever you fancy. There may just be a perfect fish waiting for your hook, or a perfect cloud waiting for your imagination to give it a name. Look, that one looks like a shoe!
Item of the Week: Well, This week I am choosing something a bit bigger than a pair of shoes or a pretty purse. It is a lovely “Forever Home” that John and I had finished purchasing on, of all days, St. Patrick’s Day! (The Luck of the Irish was with us, as we both are half Irish.) Thanks to William, (Bill) Macdonald of Centuary 21 and his lovely wife, Jenni (of Dominion Lending) for helping us to make this purchase go so smoothly and with little stress involved. As well as thank you so very much to our daughter, Ella Rose and her husband, Steven for taking over the mortgage payments and for selling the family farm that made this at all possible for John and I. We Plan To Live and Love Happily Ever After In Our New Marital Home Right Here In Cornwall, Ontario. Not only will we be living in this new home, but it will also serve as the new home to several businesses we will be continuing to run, such as our photography, music and web design.
Fun Facts: Well, not so Fun, but a Fact. In 2015 there were more deaths caused by people taking selfies than there were deaths from shark attacks. Perhaps We May Think Twice About Taking Selfies!!! And if you do take a selfie, don’t do it on train tracks, near a cliff, or in traffic. Attention needs to be placed on safety first. Once you are in a safe place, you may go crazy with your phone or camera, but remember to ensure the safety of yourselves and your friends. Remember Always To Look Before You Click.
What Would You Choose?: Would you rather jump into a cool pool full of Jello? OR Jump into some murky, fresh pond water? The Choice Is Yours. This weekly question is presented to help get people off of their phones and to start actually talking to one another. I hope this helps you to spend time with others TALKing instead of Texting.
Family News: My youngest son, Marcus had a birthday on February 28th. He turned 26 this year.
