CORNWALL, ON – Following its seventh Venture Demo Day on June 6, 2018, the Cornwall Innovation Centre is pleased to announce that Small Town Software has been invited to join the Lead To Win business accelerator program.

Two ventures pitched their ideas to the review panel made up of local business professionals including Meagan Bingley, Commercial Lines Account Manager, Rozon Insurance Ltd; Kevin Lajoie, Tourism Coordinator, Cornwall Tourism; and Mireille Lemire, Business Account Manager, Cornwall Market, RBC Royal Bank.

The successful or “green” rated venture is:

  • Small Town Software, who is developing Asset Awesome, which is an Asset Management Software designed to help municipalities meet funding and accounting requirements. The software is cloud-based, developed in Microsoft Azure.

With the addition of Small Town Software, the CIC’s Lead To Win program, modeled after Carleton University’s award-winning program, now has a total of 13 ventures operating under its wing.
