Number of Ontario hospital emergency closures soars to new record:

The Canadian Coast Guard’s newest helicopter assigned to Great Lakes and Arctic Operations will be on display at this Sunday’s Father’s Day Breakfast at the Cornwall Regional Airport in Summerstown. The event is organized by the Cornwall Flying Club.
Based in Parry Sound, Ontario, the new Bell 429 helicopter is a crucial component for delivering Canadian Coast Guard services and maintaining public safety. CCG helicopters are a workhorse of the waterways, flying to remote sites to support construction and maintenance of CCG communication sites, oil pollution response, ice monitoring and support to Government of Canada science programs.
Pilot Gary Ertel invites all aviation enthusiasts to come by to say hello and have a close-up look at CG 434. This visit from the Coast Guard is subject to operational requirements.
The event runs from 8 am until noon.
