After a review of the environment, in conjunction with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and their falcon expert, it is expected that a family of Merlin Falcons will relocate in six to ten days.
Until that time, the City of Cornwall is asking pedestrians to use caution when travelling in the area.
City staff have erected barricades and signs in the area of the Merlin Falcons’ nest. Per the attached map, pedestrians need to use caution when walking in close proximity to the designated areas.
The City of Cornwall will continue to work alongside the Cornwall Community Police Service, Cornwall Community Hospital and Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
