Canadians Dump Cornwall Colts 6-2

Cornwall, Ontario – Carlton Place Canadians jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead and never looked back in a 6-2 victory over the Colts at the Ed Lumley Arena Thursday night.

Ethan Mulhearn and Justin McRae scored the Colts goals (both of which came on the power play).
The Canadians outshot the Colts 45-17 with Mike Carr suffering the loss in goal.

The Colts record falls to 6-9-0-2 for 14 points and into an 8th place tie in the CCHL standings.
The Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Player of the game was Konnor MacCormick.

The Wendy’s Restaurant 3 Stars were First Star Andrej Hromic (CP), Second Star Ben Tupker (CP) and Third Star Harley Michaels (COR).

The Colts next game is Friday night in Kemptville. Game time is 7:30 pm at the Kemptville Arena.

The Colts return home next Thursday, October 25th to host the Hawkesbury Hawks. Game time is 7:30 pm at the Ed Lumley Arena.
