Sweet news from the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society – National Cupcake Day™ goes virtual

iAdopt for the Holidays, supported by Royal Canin, has kicked off at the Ontario SPCA Animal Centre and runs until Dec. 31 at participating SPCAs, Humane Societies and rescue groups nationwide. The goal is to get as many animals as possible placed in loving homes during the holiday season. Last year, over 4,000 animals from across Canada found their forever homes during the iAdopt for the Holidays campaign.

“Nothing brings joy to a home like the love of an adopted animal who has found a family to call their own,” says Carol Link, Manager SD& G Animal Centre. “And with people having time off from work and being home together as a family, the holidays are a great time to welcome a new furry companion and help them get settled.”

All adopters who bring home a cat or kitten from the SD&G Animal Centre during the month of November will receive a box of Arm & Hammer™ Slide™ Easy Clean-Up Clumping Litter, while supplies last. All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, microchipped, come with a gift of one
month of pet insurance and are up to date on their vaccinations. The SD& G Animal Centre also
has dogs and sometimes small pets waiting patiently to be adopted.

Adopt a pet from the SDG Animal Centre during the iAdopt for the Holidays campaign and your name will be entered for a chance to WIN free pet food for a year from Royal Canin.

Already have an adopted pet? Post a photo of your adopted pet on social media using #iAdopt, tag @OntarioSPCA and claim your entry for a chance to win weekly prize packs!

Visit the SD& G Animal Centre, located at 550 Boundary Road, Cornwall to change an animal’s life this holiday season. To learn more about iAdopt for the Holidays, visit iadopt.ca.
