Help build a Safety and Well-Being Plan

Vibrant Communities (VC) is inviting you to be part of their Focus Group Day on Wednesday July 10 at the Cornwall Civic Complex.

VC is creating a Safety and Well-Being plan for all of SDG, Cornwall and Akwesasne and needs your help. They will be conducting public engagement to help build the plan this Summer and Fall. In order to have effective public engagement they are starting with a day of focus groups on their 4 priorities; Mental Health, Health Services, Poverty and Community Safety.  Be part of this important day that will help shape the plan and the future of our communities.

August Questions – Ask Anna

The event will begin at 9:30am with a brief introduction to the day. The first two focus groups will be Mental Health and Poverty and run from 10am to 12pm. Participants will choose one or the other. We will ensure to have opportunities for everyone to provide input on all priorities, including the focus groups they will be unable to attend.  At noon lunch will be provided. Sessions for Health Services and Community Safety start again at 1pm until 3pm. Again, participants are encouraged to choose 1 of the 2. We plan to do a short wrap up after all the sessions have completed.  Participants can join for the whole day or a half day.
