Calling all artists 12 and under!

Mayor Bernadette Clement is pleased to announce the first-ever Art of the City colouring contest.

For the past year, City Hall has featured talented local artists, who have lent their work to the walls at 360 Pitt Street. Art of the City will feature youth artwork in 2020, starting with a contest for elementary school-aged children.

Submitted artwork should feature students’ vision for their ideal city. What does a perfect community look like? What activities would residents engage in?

Classrooms are invited to submit their artwork as a group. The class with the most inspiring pieces will win a pizza lunch with Mayor Clement.

Artwork will be featured at City Hall throughout the month of April. All are welcome to visit the building on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Submission requirements: Artwork should include the name, age, and school of the artist on the reverse.

Deadline to submit: Friday, February 28, 2020

How to submit: Mail to Mayor Clement, PO Box 877, Cornwall, ON K6H 5T9
