All COVID-19 Testing Centres Changing to Appointment Only – Limoges Testing Centre to Require Appointments Starting October 9th

As of this week, all COVID-19 Testing and Assessment Centres in the EOHU region will be accepting clients by appointment only. Testing is now also limited to people who have COVID-19 symptoms or who meet other provincial eligibility criteria.

All centres except the Limoges centre have already made the change to an appointment-only system. The Limoges centre will switch to the appointment-only system starting Friday, October 9th (on October 7th and 8th, it will continue to receive clients without appointments).

The move to an appointment-only system, as well as recent restrictions on testing eligibility, have been mandated by the Ontario government for all testing centres in the province. The changes are expected to reduce wait times for people seeking tests, as well as reduce the backlog in processing test results at provincial laboratories.

Booking an appointment for COVID-19 testing and assessments

Residents who have COVID-19 symptoms, or who meet other eligibility criteria for testing, can book appointments at the following testing/assessment centres in the EOHU region:

  • Akwesasne: 613-575-2341 ext. 3220
  • Alexandria: 613-933-1375 or 1 800 267-7120
  • Cornwall: 343-475-0160
  • Hawkesbury: online booking system
  • Limoges (Calypso parking lot): 1 800 267-8260 (booking starts on October 7th for appointments starting on October 9th)
  • Rockland: fill in an online form for an appointment
  • Winchester: 613-801-2333

All testing and assessment centres will be closed on Monday, October 12th for the Thanksgiving holiday.
