Vegetables and fruits should be included in your daily diet. Moreover, these should be mandatory in your everyday nutrition. Vegetables and fruits are important natural sources of vitamins, minerals, and will protect you from numerous diseases including cancer, diabetes, heart diseases, etc. However, it is not enough only to eat a lot of vegetables and fruit, but to lead an active lifestyle, and to have a well-balanced and healthy diet. It is recommended to eat at least five servings of vegetables every day and at least two of fruit. To make it even more interesting and healthy, you can use different combinations of vegetables, and experiments with these are more than welcomed. Here are some recommendations to make the best out of these groceries.

Supplements

If you feel that your green products intake is not on a positive level, you can add food supplements to your diet to increase the effectiveness of these even more. There are some superfood supplements on the market like Balance of Nature Fruits and Veggies which are the perfect fusion of greenery you need in your daily diet. Supplements like this are not the artificial alternative to the veggies and fruits you can normally take, but more of an organic and natural mixture of the best parts of both categories. Like any other superfood supplement, it is meant to boost the immunity system, increase energy levels, detoxify your body, and some other benefits for your whole appearance like healthy and glowing skin, hair, and healthy nails.

Juices

Did you know that there are juices for every illness? Even though this might sound unrealistic and a bit too ambitious, it is true that different combinations of vegetables and fruits may cure certain illnesses like anemia, digestion problems, osteopathy, and a whole bunch of other diseases. Fresh, natural juice without any additives can have multiple benefits for the health besides the targeted ones. Some of the benefits of cold pressed juice include improved hydration, enhanced nutrient absorption, and a boost in antioxidants, which can help support your overall health and vitality. Incorporating these juices into your daily routine can be a flavorful way to promote wellness. One of the most popular recipes is the one for anemia. It is proven that juice made of a combination of beetroot, fresh green apple, and carrots can do wonders in increasing the production of red blood cells.

Smoothies

Similar to the natural juices are smoothies, except these may function as the meals themselves. The combinations of different fruits and vegetables may have numerous benefits and one of them being weight loss and the establishment of healthy habits like healthy nutrition. When it comes to smoothies, there are unmeasurable possibilities. But it is proven that by the extraction of certain ingredients there are considerable levels of nutrients like proteins, fibers, unsaturated fats, and antioxidants with a positive effect on the detoxification of the body which might be the main cause of diseases like cancer. Just as it is previously mentioned, smoothies can replace whole meals. Therefore, there are smoothie bowls that are made of the smoothie base and topped with things like dried fruit, nuts, cocoa powder, coconut sprinkles, etc.

Salads

Nothing is more beneficial than fresh vegetables and fruit, and definitely, the best way to feel their taste is by making whole natural salads of these ingredients. There is a whole bunch of recipes you can make in order to get out the best of the vegetables and fruit you have in your home. These can be both savory and sweet depending on what you have in your home. When it comes to some savory recipes, salads can be made out of multiple fresh veggies but bases like lettuce and cabbage are definitely the ones in common use. There are also some other things that are usually added and are preferred to be eaten fresh like tomatoes, onion, garlic, cucumber, etc. Dressings made of natural ingredients like lemon, lime, extra virgin olive oil, chilly flakes, etc. are meant to even more accentuate the healthy benefits of these ingredients. Salads can be made as whole meals with additions like spicy chicken, toasted bread cubes, and cheese. On the other hand, fruit salads are an incomparable source of freshness. These are made of multiple fruit combinations with additions of natural juices like orange, lemon, or lime juice. It is smart to add some fresh herbs like mint to increase the freshness of the salad even more.

Vegetables and fruit must be a mandatory part of the daily diet. Sometimes, because of the lack of time, people switch to an unhealthy diet based mostly on junk food. However, this can have long-lasting negative effects on your health to the extent of even changing the way your immune system functions.
