“The pandemic has been hard on everyone,” said Terry Muir, chairperson of Ribfest. “We are so happy to be back to pre-pandemic settings. Our vendors are ready, our Ribbers are serving, the beer is cold and Optimists are ready to serve you with a smile!”

The midway is set to open on Thursday at 4pm and will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 11pm and Sunday until 6pm.

“We have a great lineup of live entertainment for you” continued Muir. “Saturday, we secured the legendary Sass Jordan, and of course, we have many local talents that will take on the stage throughout the week-end. Many thanks go the Cornwall Tourism Development Fund for their financial support, which allowed us to bring Sass Jordan to Cornwall.”

In addition to ribs, long time classics such as the “blooming onion” and the “Twisted Taters” will be available on site.

For the first time this year, a new area, Ahkwesahsró:non Tsi Rontenhní:nons, Akwasasne Vendors, will feature a variety of Artists and Artisans from Akwasasne.
“The success of Ribfest has always been because of the wonderful community we live in.  As we celebrate our 10th anniversary this year, we want to take a minute to thank all our sponsors and partners without whom this festival wouldn’t be possible,” ended Muir.
