With little time left in this winter it is time to add a little magic to the rest of this season. Instead of staying inside and grabbing extra blankets, why not embrace the little time of cold left? Let your inner child play with some winter magic.

Instead of making snow angels, make snow Goddesses. Invoke the Goddess and her energy. Lay on the ground and move your arms and legs. When you have finished your Goddess take a deep breath and ask the Goddess to wrap you in love and health. Then make a wish. Before you get up, close your eyes and enjoy the crispness of the day. Listen to the quiet, meditate and give thanks to the Goddess for aiding you.

August Questions – Ask Anna

If you want to bring love in your life, make a snow man or woman. As you make it, think about the qualities you want in your new love. Be careful. Don’t give him a pipe if you don’t want a smoker. Only bring in positive qualities. If money, put a looney in his pocket. Add red dye to the area of his heart. Be as creative as you wish. The more details you add, the faster your love will appear. Write a letter to him on paper that will quickly disintegrate and put it in the snowman. Then look at your creation, give thanks and wait.

If you want to release or banish things, snowballs are a great way to do this magically. As you are making the snowball, think what you no longer want in your life. Think about how great it would be if this issue no longer existed. When ready, just throw the snowball away from you as far as you can.

Hot Drink And Teas With Magical Properties

When it is time to warm up, give your inner child a hot drink. Set your intentions before you brew the drink. This helps with healing as well as any metaphysical properties you want to draw to you.

Hot cacao in a decorative mug with sweet additives is a great way to warm up, sit on the sofa, relax and allow yourself to come back to this reality. Teas with herbs have medicinal benefits (antioxidants, antibacterial and antifungal) as well as magical ones.

Apples with cinnamon lowers inflammation. It also helps with PMS and cramps. Metaphysically, this tea inspires success, fosters feelings of love and contentment.

Spiced teas such as ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and pepper are excellent for boosting your immunity. They are excellent for upset stomachs and metaphysically they add protection, courage and strength.

Mint or Orange Ginger Tea help with digestive problems or flu with Vitamin A and C. They draw prosperity, protection, and healing, luck and success.

Lemon Honey Echinacea Tea is great when you feel a cold coming on and metaphysically bring success to new ventures.

This column does not allow me the space to give you the recipes for these teas. If you would like the recipes, send me an email and I will forward them to you.

Tarot – 10 of Cups

The Ten of Cups card depicts ‘having it all’. This is where all your dreams, wants, needs and wishes have been fulfilled, and you feel a complete sense of satisfaction. Take a moment and breathe, look around you and be thankful for all your blessings. No more adjustments or shifting is needed, you are in the right, just relax and enjoy your moment. The Ten of Cups could also indicate a family holiday where you can relax and spend time with family.
