Le Théâtre de L’Amalgame is delighted to announce its fourteenth production since its inception in 2006, “La Visite ou Surtout, Sentez-Vous Pas Obligés de Venir” by Robert Bellefeuille and Michel Marc Bouchard. Directed by Mario Sarda with the assistance of Ginette Girard, this comedy follows a couple’s recollection of three eventful days where they received visitors ten years apart. Their experience is portrayed in three “books”: The Art of Receiving, The Art of Perceiving, and The Art of Disappointing. Through the joys and pains caused by these visitors, the play highlights the “circus that is the human condition” and tackles social norms, manners, and the need for solitude.

Only three shows remain at Saint-Lawrence High School, located at 1450 Second Street East, Cornwall, ON, on May 12th and 13th, 2023, at 7 p.m., and on May 14th, 2023, at 2 p.m. Tickets are available on L’Amalgame des arts de la langue française et du Théâtre’s website (lamalgamedesarts.ca) or by calling 613-362-0931. Tickets can also be purchased at the door one hour before the shows at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Please note that only cash payments will be accepted, and the cost is $25.
