HomeSense Opens New Store in Cornwall

By Bob Peters, choosecornwall.ca – One of Canada’s most popular retailers has expanded its Canadian presence with a new store in Cornwall at Brookdale and Tollgate.

The new HomeSense store is now open and offers over 19,000 square feet of designer and brand name merchandise for less than department and specialty store prices. It is located in the Brookdale Square Plaza in the former location of its sister store, Winners. The plaza is home to a variety of retailers including Michaels, SportChek, Mark’s, Moores, Best Buy and Ren’s Pets.

“We are very excited about the grand opening of our new location in Cornwall,” says Erin O’Brien, HomeSense Spokesperson. “The HomeSense Cornwall store will provide our customers who live and work in the area with the convenience, value, quality and brand name selection that HomeSense is known for. With new items arriving in-store daily, the store will offer shoppers an exciting destination with irresistible finds at exceptional prices.”

HomeSense offers an ever-changing selection of top brands and home fashions from around the globe, at prices generally 20%-60% below full-price regular prices from other retailers.

HomeSense buyers travel around the world to bring the hottest brand names and a wide assortment of exciting home fashions to stores.

“ We are proud to have HomeSense open in our shopping centre in the City of Cornwall,” said Guery Goyo, CEO of Villarboit, the developer of the plaza. “This retailer is a great addition to our Centre and creates jobs within the community.”

The new Cornwall HomeSense is located at 501 Tollgate Road, Unit 4. Regular store hours are Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A Grand Opening will be held on October 3, 2023 from 8:00 a.m.  to 9:00 p.m..
