Cornwall, Ontario – July 2, 2024 – The City of Cornwall is excited to announce the launch of Cornwall Connect, a new citizen service request system, available starting this afternoon. This milestone marks a significant advancement in how our citizens interact with the city when submitting requests for service.
Cornwall Connect aims to enhance community engagement and streamline the process for reporting various issues. During this initial phase, the system will support the top 10 most common service requests, with an additional option for “other” requests.
These “other” requests will be closely monitored over the next 3-4 months to inform the development of additional features within the system.
The Cornwall Connect portal is user-friendly and accessible, allowing residents to submit requests anytime from their computer or mobile device. This initiative not only enhances citizen engagement but also drives internal efficiencies, reinforcing our commitment to a “no wrong door” approach to customer service.
“We are pleased to announce the launch of Cornwall Connect,” said Mayor Justin Towndale. “This platform is designed to improve our efficiency in addressing community concerns and to provide timely updates to residents, ensuring transparency throughout the process.”
