6th Annual Washer Tournament Raises $2,350 for HGMH Foundation
Alexandria, ON – April 5, 2025 – The Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the success of its 6th Annual Washer Tournament, held on Saturday, April 5th, at the Dome in Alexandria. The event raised approximately $2,350, with 28 teams participating in this fun and competitive day, all in support of local healthcare initiatives.
“The enthusiasm and support we received from the community were incredible,” said Frédérique Théorêt, Executive Director of the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation. “The funds raised will go directly toward enhancing healthcare services at Glengarry Memorial Hospital, and we’re grateful for everyone who came out to support the cause.”
A special thank you goes out to the amazing partners who helped make this event possible: the Township of North Glengarry, B&B Food Market, Tim Hortons, and Pommier Jewellers. Their generous support played a vital role in the event’s success.
The Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation looks forward to hosting next year’s tournament and continuing to engage the community in making a positive impact on local healthcare.
