Shoppers Drug Mart Opens New Pharmacy Care Clinic in Cornwall This Saturday
Cornwall residents will soon have another option for accessible healthcare. Shoppers Drug Mart is opening its newest Pharmacy Care Clinic at 1236 Brookdale Avenue this Saturday, June 14, offering walk-in and appointment-based services for a range of common health concerns.
Led by Associate-Owner Eslam Hamed and a team of licensed pharmacists, the clinic goes beyond just filling prescriptions. Patients can receive assessments and treatment for issues like urinary tract infections, yeast infections, hay fever, rashes, sprains, strains, morning sickness, and more—all in a fully equipped clinical setting.
The new space features a staffed reception area, private examination rooms, and a comfortable waiting area. With clinic services free of charge for those with a valid Ontario health card, it provides a much-needed option at a time when many in the region are without a family doctor.
Appointments can be booked online through the PC Health website, or patients can simply walk in. The pharmacy is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
