Re: Security concerns in voting system leading to calls of voter fraud
Minister, Premier, Elections Ontario, Attorney General Downey, OPP Commissioner
Some residents across Ontario are demanding that the electronic/on-line/phone-in municipal elections be declared void and that paper ballot elections be called due to the critical security vulnerabilities announced on October 21, 2026. There are now people declaring “voter fraud” due to these systems with votes being declined; suspicions of mass voting by third party entities and yet IP addresses are unavailable to anyone due to contractual limitations; and concerns that Clerks/Chief Electoral Officers (CEO) are not upholding legislation, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
These elections are fraught with questions and many residents have no faith in the electronic/on-line/phone-in municipal elections.
Statement from the Federal Government:
From: Communications Security Establishment Canada
All municipal elections using electronic/on-line/phone-in need to be declared “void” and new paper ballot elections need to be called. This is an election emergency of such magnitude that the only saving for the electoral system is paper ballot or Ontarians will have no faith in the electoral system.
On behalf of residents
