Traffic Notice – Closure of Cumberland Street and Emma Avenue
The City of Cornwall would like to advise motorists that the intersection of Cumberland Street and Emma Avenue is currently closed to traffic in order to assess the need for repairs to a culvert.
The heavy rainfall has created unsafe conditions at the intersection. Staff is currently evaluating the situation and additional information will be provided once it is available.
Northbound traffic on Cumberland Street is currently being detoured on Cline Avenue. Access to Cumberland Street and the surrounding streets north of Emma Avenue is still available via Tollgate Road or off of Pitt Street via Eva Avenue and Benny Avenue.
