Looking your best does not always have to be complicated or expensive. True style comes from feeling happy both from the inside and outside. Feeling confident, believing in yourself and standing tall is the rule of thumb to owning one’s personal style. To look impeccable every day, here are some basic style secrets that are essential to every woman;

  •  ALWAYS BE PREPARED

Fashion is not for everyone. It does take one to break the bank but requires a level of preparedness. Looking great calls for one to always plan and arrange various items that they intend to adorn. The best way to prevent an embarrassing situation is to be always prepared. Use some time each night and choose the attire for the following day. By doing this, you won’t need to rush in the morning looking for what to wear or be anxious about how you will look.

  • ADDRESS MOTHER NATURE

If possible, check the weather forecast before leaving your home because this will help you to dress appropriately and carry extras if need be. The last thing you want to do is be caught off guard adorning a fashion piece that doesn’t mesh with the environment. During rainy days, avoid wearing white and fabrics that usually take too much time to dry, lest you get wet. Wear A versatile outfit like a Fendi linen jacket that will look great both on a gloomy day and can still be switched up when the weather clears up.

  • YEARN FOR STYLE

Personal style can be an elusive concept, however, being fashionable doesn’t essentially mean wearing every single item from the runway. There is a lot more to it. You can wear a basic pair of jeans with a t-shirt and look lavishing. All you need to do is find out how you can work different fashion pieces and accessories. Style entails being clear on what you want to portray to the world.

  • DO YOU AT ALL COSTS

Every woman is unique in their own way and much like body shapes, not every fashion piece would fit every one.Every woman regardless of their fashion choices knows exactly what they look good in. Hence, never compromise by wearing an outfit that you are not comfortable in or isn’t your style or fit. People can identify your style by the aura of confidence you emanate.

  • KEEP THE OCCASION IN MIND

Always keep in mind the event that you are attending. If you observe well, you will realize that those stylish women usually get dressed according to the occasion they are going. When in doubt about the choice of outerwear to adorn, you can choose to ask for some more information from the event organizer or your friend.

  • FEEL FREE TO TRY OUT NEW BRANDS

Many people get caught in style potholes because they get so much attached and comfortable with particular brands. It’s great to have your heart’s favourites whom you trust. However, it’s good to know that there is always plenty of fish in the sea. It’s only when we go fishing that we know our likes and dislikes. The next time you are in the market for clothes and accessories, feel free to try out different brands, designs, colors and patterns that you wouldn’t essentially go with. Online research can be a great tool to see what retailers have to offer to their consumers before hitting the market.
