
FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON- Gail Atwell, 59 of Cornwall was arrested on February 21st, 2013. It is alleged that she failed to attend court on February 19th, 2013 and a bench warrant was issued. She was held until court later that day.
PUBLIC MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- Members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Criminal Investigation Division conducted an investigation regarding an alleged Break & Enter at a McConnell Avenue residence on February 5th, 2013. Investigation revealed that the incident had not occurred, police were mislead and provided false information. As a result, Oliver Delatour, 21, Antoni Delatour, 20, Jessica Lemieux, 23, and a 16-year-old youth acquaintance were arrested and charged with Public Mischief- report offence which had not been committed. They were released to appear in court on later dates. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
ASSAULT & BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 21st, 2013. He was bound by 2 Probation Orders with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on February 21st, 2013 he got into an altercation with his 22-year-old brother when he assaulted him. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Assault and 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on April 9th, 2013. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT & THREATS
Cornwall, ON- A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 21st, 2013. It is alleged that between July 2012 and February 19th, 2013 he got into altercations with his 18-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her and threatened to harm her. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 2 counts of Domestic Assault and Utter Threats. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.
