FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON- A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 25th, 2013. It is alleged that he failed to appear for court on March 21st, 2013. He was located and held in custody until court later that day. The youth’s name was not released as per provision uncer the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON- A 43-year-old Lunenburg man was arrested on March 25th, 2013. He was bound by a Peace Bond with the conditions of not to have any contact or association directly or indirectly with his 49-year-old ex-wife. It is alleged that on March 6th, 2013 he had indirect contact with her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Breach of Peace Bond and released to appear in court on May 28th, 2013. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON- Cody MacDonald, 29 of Cornwall was arrested on March 25th, 2013 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on September 11th, 2012 he failed to attend court and a bench warrant was issued. He turned himself in to police and was released to appear in court on April 17th, 2013.

FAIL TO APPEAR & BREACH

Cornwall, ON- A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 25th, 2013. The youth was bound by Probation Order and an Undertaking with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on March 20th, 2013 the youth failed to attend for fingerprints. The youth was charged with Fail to Attend for Fingerprints, Breach of Probation Order and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. She was released to appear in court on May 2nd, 2013.

ASSAULT WITH WEAPON & DANGEROUS WEAPON

Cornwall, ON- A 49-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 25th, 2013. It is alleged that he attended a Pitt Street restaurant and got into an altercation with his 59-year-old business partner when he swung a knife towards him. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Assault with a Weapon and Dangerous Weapon. He was released to appear in court on My 7th, 2013. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON- An 18-year-old Cornwall male was arrested on March 25th, 2013. It is alleged that on March 25th, 2013 he got into an altercation with his 15-year-old girlfriend at school when he assaulted her. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault and released to appear in court on April 25th, 2013. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT & BREACHES

Cornwall, ON- A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 25th, 2013. He was bound by a Probation Order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and to abstain from the consumption of alcohol. It is alleged that on March 25th, 2013 he got into an altercation with his 22-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. Upon arrest, the male was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with Domestic Assault and 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF & BREACH

Cornwall, ON- An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 25th, 2013. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on March 24th, 2013 he attended his 19-year-old ex-girlfriend’s residence and caused damaged. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Mischief under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.
