BREACHES

Cornwall, ON- Scott Flaro, 37 of Cornwall was arrested on March 4th, 2013. He was bound by an Undertaking with relevant conditions: no unsupervised access to anyone under 16 years of age, you are prohibited from attending a public park or public swimming area where persons under the age of 16 years are present or can reasonably be present, or a daycare centre, school ground or community centre and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on February 25th, 2013 a local day care. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 3 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was held in custody until court the following day.

CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE

Cornwall, ON- Paul Chartrand, 68 of Cornwall was arrested on March 4th, 2013. It is alleged that on November 3rd, 2012 he was operating a pickup truck towing a trailer on McConnell Avenue. The trailer came detached from the pickup truck and collided with a motor vehicle which was travelling southbound on McConnell Avenue. A 35-year-old male and a 28-year-old female occupant of the motor vehicle were injured. Police attended and an investigation followed. He was charged with 2 counts of Criminal Negligence Cause Bodily Harm and released to appear in court on April 11th, 2013.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT & THREATS

Cornwall, ON- A 43-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 4th, 2013. It is alleged that during August 2012 he got into an altercation with his 59-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her. It is also alleged that during September 2012 he uttered death threats to her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault and Utter Death Threats. He was held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.
