PUBLIC NOTICE

Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a suspicious incident involving an older model black minivan in the east end of Cornwall. It is alleged that on March 7th, 2013 shortly after 1:15 p.m. police received information of a suspicious minivan in the east end of Cornwall. Police attended and canvassed the area with negative results. No further information is available at this time.

The Cornwall Community Police Service is requesting any suspicious activity involving a black minivan be reported to police immediately.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON- Brandon Jacobs, 18 of Cornwall was arrested on March 7th, 2013. It is alleged that on March 5th, 2013 he assaulted a 48-year-old male security guard. The victim was not injured. He was charged with assault and released to appear in court on April 23rd, 2013.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON- Lori McConkey, 49 of Cornwall was arrested on March 6th, 2013 on the strength of an outstanding warrant of committal for drive while under suspension. He was located and held in custody until court the following day.

Cornwall, ON- A 17-year-old Montreal, Quebec male was arrested on March 6th, 2013 on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on June 14th, 2013 he got into an altercation with a 16-year-old youth when he assaulted him and removed property from him. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. Upon his arrest, he was found with brass knuckles. He was charged with possession of prohibited weapon. He was held in custody until court the following day.
