Lacasse, a former Montreal Canadiens draft pick, was 17-13-2 in goal for Cornwall in 2012-13.

The versatile Lessard scored two goals and added eight assists for Cornwall last season. The former Carolina Hurricanes draft pick is known for his physical play however; he had 147 penalty minutes in 36 games last season.

More signing are expected in the coming days, as the team prepares for its intrasquad game on Saturday night at the Civic Complex (8 p.m. start). The following afternoon, Cornwall hosts Trois-Rivieres in pre-season action at the Ed Lumley Arena. Puck drop is at 4 p.m.

Season tickets are on now on sale at the River Kings offie. A payment plan is also available to fans. For more information, you can reach the River Kings office at 613-935-6219 or email the club at riverkings@live.ca
