Cornwall Ontario — The polls closed at 9pm on Thursday June 12th for Ontario’s 41st General Election.
The Seeker is calling the riding of SDSG for Incumbent MPP Jim McDonell who is currently in the lead. For most of the night it was a close race between Liberal candidate John Earle and NDP candidate Elaine MacDonald for second place. John Earle has pulled a head and it is likely he will secure second spot.

- PC Jim McDonell – 19,457 votes
- Liberal John Earle – 9287 votes
- NDP Elaine MacDonald – 8374 votes
- Green Sharon Norman – 1047 votes
- Libertarian Shawn McRae – 608 votes.
The riding of Stormon-Dundas-South Glengary has 77,603 eligible voters.
