The Seeker is calling the riding of SDSG for Incumbent MPP Jim McDonell who is currently in the lead. For most of the night it was a close race between Liberal candidate John Earle and NDP candidate Elaine MacDonald for second place. John Earle has pulled a head and it is likely he will secure second spot.
Here are the results:
PC Jim McDonell – 19,457 votes
Liberal John Earle – 9287 votes
NDP Elaine MacDonald – 8374 votes
Green Sharon Norman – 1047 votes
Libertarian Shawn McRae – 608 votes.
The riding of Stormon-Dundas-South Glengary has 77,603 eligible voters.
