Cornwall Ontario — It is warm and sunny, the perfect weather for a family picnic at Lamoureux Park, and the perfect weather for the 70th Anniversary celebration of the United Way of SD&G on Sunday.

“70 years of service to our communities is amazing!” says Lori Greer, Executive Director “It is reason to celebrate but without our loyal donors, business leaders and local citizens this anniversary would not have been possible”.

Nolan Quinn took a short break from ice cream today. He was apart of The Benson Group that hosted a Benson BBQ. Family and children enjoyed free hot dogs and hamburgers.

There was also a long line up for face painting with Carilyn Hebert. From flowers, to bees, to their favourite super heroes, children had their faces decorated in an assortment of colours and designs.
