Cornwall Colts defeat Hawkesbury Hawks 4-1 at home

Cornwall Ontario — Cornwall Colts (8-1-0-1) were victorious once again defeating the Hawkesbury Hawks (5-5-1) Thursday night at the Civic Complex.

Colts goalie Denny Dubblestyne earned the vicotry stopping 42 of 43 shots. Lalonde and Hope each scored two goals for the Colts.

The games three stars were as follows:

#1 – Cornwall Colts forward Nick Lalonde who scored two goals
#2 – Cornwall Colts goalie Denny Dubblestyne who had a fantastic game
#3 – Hawkesbury Hawks goalie Gunner Rivers who kept the game sort of close

Next up for the Colts is Friday night action in Gloucester against the Rangers (4-5-0-1). The puck drops at 7:30pm.

The next home game for the Cornwall Colts is on October 2nd. The Cornwall Colts take on the Smiths Falls Bears at 7:30 pm at the Cornwall Civic Complex.
