Morrisburg Ontario — Halloween is just around the corner, and that means it is Pumpkin Inferno time at Upper Canada. Come and stroll through a hauntingly beautiful and spellbinding outdoor exhibit of now close to 6,000 hand-carved pumpkins, set against a stirring night-time backdrop just inside the gates of historic Upper Canada Village. Marvel at rejuvenated and eclectic displays of scenes from exotic places and historic ages, meet up with forest animals and sea-born creatures, see story book heroes, mythical characters, cultural icons and more all carved from pumpkins!

This mesmerizing installation of artist-inspired, glowing pumpkins is a not-to-be-missed! See for yourself why Pumpkinferno has earned “Best New Event in Ontario” designation by Festival and Events Ontario, “Tourism Event of the Year” by the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario and “New Company of the Year” by Ottawa Tourism. Group rates are available for groups of 20+ people and must be reserved in advance.

Partnering with the Upper Canada District School Board and the Catholic School Board of Eastern Ontario, Pumpkinferno is proud to present a whimsical display of over one thousand individually painted pumpkins, created by area school children between Kindergarten and Grade 8 from 22 schools in the region.

NEW! Special Needs Night – Wednesday, October 15, 2014

NEW this year! The Village will be open the evening of Wednesday, October 15, 2014 exclusively for groups of people with physical disabilities who can ride in the comfort of their own vehicles to view PumpkInferno. Only “special needs” vans or parabuses allowed – no coaches or school buses, please.

For everyone’s safety, we will provide one of our own trained and licensed staff who is familiar with the Village roadways in the dark, to lead these vehicles through the site. Admission to tour the Village when part of a “Special Needs” group is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for seniors and youths (plus HST). Reservations must be made ahead, by calling 1-800-437-2233 or locally 613-543-4328.

2014 Admission Fees

Adult (13-64 yrs) $13.00
Senior (64 yrs+) $10.00
Youth (6-12 yrs) $10.00
Child (5 yrs & under) Free
Prices do not include HST

Group rates are available for groups of 20+ people and must be reserved in advance. Group rates are not available on Friday and Saturday nights or on Thanksgiving Sunday. All members of the group must arrive and proceed through Admissions at the same time. Please contact the Customer Service team for more details.
