The Corus Cares Holiday Wine and Gourmet Tastings Event raised $39,000 which helped push the United Way campaign figure to the 50% mark. “This is an important fundraising event for the United Way – it helps to profile and create awareness for the work they do all year long supporting 16 agencies and 19 programs”, states Angie Baker, Corus Wine Event Committee Member. “The success of this event simply would not have been possible without the generosity of almost 100 local business sponsors and the community who made this a must attend holiday event. Thank you for believing in your community!” The event took place on Saturday November 22nd with over 400 guests enjoying an assortment of wonderful wines and tasty treats, while enjoying music and dancing to kick-off the holiday season.

“This event is very important to our Campaign”, said Nolan Quinn, 2014 Campaign Chair. “We appreciate the effort and generosity of the volunteer committee and all event sponsors who made this evening possible. It was a fantastic evening and we are so grateful for the contribution to our yearly campaign”.
