River Kings

After a week of negotiations, discussion and uncertainty, the LNAH is pleased to announce that the River Kings will go on to play their games next weekend.

The LNAH has come to an agreement to allow the franchise to continue. The new owner, Steven Moreau, is a businessman in the Cornwall area. “I want to thank Mr. Moreau for accepting this challenge. He deserves the full support of the  community for his commitment. We know that the River Kings already have a wonderful fan base on which we can build upon, long-term. ” said Commissioner Michel Godin.

The LNAH hopes the fans will show the new owner, Mr. Moreau, their unwavering support on Saturday and  attend the next home game of the team against the Rivière-du-Loup  The Ontario team will face Trois-Rivières Friday night before their big home game.
